is currently hiring an Experienced Control Panel Technician to join our growing team.
To be successful in this role you need to be self-motivated, reliable, flexible to changing schedules, have a high level of integrity and understand basic panel wiring.
Essential Duties The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures Routing and building of wire cables neatly to meet wiring standards Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLC's, I/O Modules, VFD's and Instrumentation Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion Communicate effectively with all team members, leads, technicians, engineers, and the Project Manager Read schematics Perform other duties as needed Experience and Requirements Ability to meet deadlines under pressure A high standard of quality and attention to detail Fluent ability in reading a tape measure High School Graduate or equivalent Technical school attendance a plus Ability to understand and work from schematics Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and adhere to written procedures Ability to communicate effectively, (written or verbally) with peers, management.
Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs on occasion, stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach and sit for long periods of time Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to adapt to changing schedule and easily and positively adjust to changing priorities and department processes.
